I grew up in Wellington, Texas, raised in the cotton and peanut fields where I learned early what hard work, faith, and perseverance truly mean. My mechanical background runs deep from tractors to cars, and that hands-on experience shaped the way I lead and serve today. After graduating from Garden City High School and earning my Associate’s degree from Garden City Community College, I found my place at CTG Express Lube from day one.
By God’s grace and a lot of determination, I’ve helped build this company from the ground up. Every challenge, long night, and hard-earned victory has been part of a greater plan. The skills and drive I’ve been blessed with are talent on loan from God,and I strive to honor Him through the way I lead, serve, and grow this company. CTG was built on integrity, excellence, and faith and I’m proud to see those values livedout every day by our team.
My wife, Kate, and I have four wonderful kids who remind me daily why I do what I do.I’m grateful for the people who make CTG what it is and for the Lord’s favor in giving me the strength and opportunity to keep pushing forward. May we continue to build, serve,and shine His light in all we do.
I grew up in Midland, Texas my whole life and graduated high school from Midland Classical Academy. My college basic studies were at Tarrant County College in Ft.
Worth, and later a Bachelor’s degree with Purdue University Global. My wife, Julia, and I
have two awesome kids, and we regularly attend Renew Life Church in Midland. My initial studies were focused on the medical field, and I worked as an office manager for a clinic in Lubbock, Texas for three years during college. However, I have always had an interest in business and entrepreneurship, growing up in a family where that could be casually discussed around the dinner table. My dad and uncle, General and CT, invited me to come work for CTG and what a blessing that has been to be working with my family.
Currently, some of my biggest hobbies are long distance running, basketball, and playing at home with my kids. I might be the worst golfer you’ll ever meet, but hopefully not for long.
I have loved getting to be a part of the CTG Express Lube team and look forward to many years of bringing the best oil change experience to all in West Texas!
I was born and raised in Tulia, Texas, where I graduated high school in 1987. Two years later, I married my wife, Donna James, and together we’ve built a blessed life with four wonderful children and eight beautiful grandchildren. In 1988, we moved to Amarillo, Texas, where I began what would become a 30+ year journey in the automotive industry. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to grow both professionally and personally, guided by faith and the belief that hard work and integrity honor the Lord in all we do. In 2017, through God’s grace and a lot of determination, we opened our first CTG location in Pecos, Texas a community I’m proud to now call home. Since then, it’s been amazing to see how the Lord continues to bless our team, our customers, and our mission to serve others with honesty, excellence, and heart.
Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, General has spent the last thirty years developing as a businessman and the last fifteen years focusing on starting multiple businesses from the ground up in under-served, smaller markets. From RV parks to barbecue joints and iced tea stores, General credits God with a clear vision for what is most needed, where to put the business, and who to partner with to see it become a reality. "CTG Express is different from our other businesses in that it is truly a generational family business with my brother, CT, as co-founder and my son, Conrey, as our future corporate leader," says General, "CTG Express is an oil change experience we have personally developed specifically for markets that need quality service at a local level."
